Our program will run from June 3 to July 12, 2019. Students will be picked up by a USN bus at 7:20 a.m. and returned to the same location by 3:40 p.m. Pick up sites are Carter-Lawrence Elementary and a location to be announced in Antioch. To participate and take full advantage of the program, students are required to be present every day. There is a firm no vacation policy. In addition, the goal is for each student to attend the Horizons program for eight summers. Parents are welcome to volunteer and attend field trips.
Parents must provide proof of income by submitting their 1040 Income Tax Return or other supporting documents.
Students applying to Horizons are not guaranteed entry into the program. Our entry points are Kindergarten – 5th grade. You will receive notification about whether or not your child has been accepted into Horizons by mid-March. If your child is not accepted this year, we hope you will apply again another year. If a spot opens, we will be calling parents on our waiting list so they can complete their application process.
