Volunteer

Summertime is a welcome break for children all over Nashville. It’s also a time when many students lose learning ground, access to healthy meals, and opportunities to build skills and confidence. Horizons is looking for volunteers wanting to make an impact in their community by devoting between 1-3 hours a day at least once a week. Summers are a busy time and we need help supporting our Summer Reading Program.

Volunteers are an essential component of the Horizons programs. Volunteers support our teachers and students in the classroom, reading clinic, as tutors and presenters, chaperones on field trips. Interested in volunteering, to receive an application, please email Sam Jackson at info@usnhorizons.org.
